Why we picked it
The coaching read.
The number is the number. Pin-lock optics grab the flag and pulse, slope compensation gives you the playing yardage, and half-yard accuracy removes the guess between 148 and 156.
The slope switch flips off for tournament-legal play, so one device covers practice and competition. Distance control starts with knowing the distance — this is where the data begins.
±0.5 yd to 400. Stop guessing the difference between 148 and 156.

Verified buyer“Locks the pin instantly and the jolt confirms it. Slope readings match my coach’s yardage book almost to the yard.”

Verified buyer“Glass is crisp and target lock is quick even into a busy background. Slope toggles off with a side switch so it’s tournament-legal — that sold me over the model I returned. Half a star off for a weak case magnet.”

Questions
Before you range it.
Is the slope mode tournament-legal?
The slope switch flips off, and with slope disabled the unit reads straight-line yardage that conforms for competition. Leave it on for practice to get the playing number, switch it off on the first tee of a counting round.
How accurate is it, really?
Plus or minus half a yard out to 400. In our bag testing the slope figure matched a coach’s yardage book almost exactly — close enough that you can stop guessing the gap between 148 and 156.
Does the colorway change anything?
Cosmetic only. Slate, Amber, and White share identical 6x optics, pin-lock pulse, and slope engine — pick the finish you will spot fastest in your bag.
What comes in the box?
The rangefinder, a magnetic cart strap, a CR2 battery, a hard case, and a microfibre cloth. It is ready to lock a pin the moment it lands.
