Why we picked it
The coaching read.
Setup is the cheapest place to gain a stroke, and it is the first thing that drifts under pressure. Lay two sticks and every rep has a reference: feet, hips, ball position, start line. No stick, no reference — you are guessing.
We measured start-line drift on the putting green with and without the gate. Through the gate the miss pattern tightens by roughly 2°. At fifty dollars, nothing else on the console buys back a stroke faster.
Path +2.1° tighter through the gate. Setup is the cheapest stroke you will ever own.

★★★★★
Verified buyer“Cheapest fix in the bag. A buddy lasered my setup and I’d been aimed six degrees right for years — one range session with the gate and my start line finally matched my intent.”

Verified buyer“I run the gate drill as a checkpoint every warm-up now: one stick for the stance line, one for the ball. My face-to-path spread on the monitor tightened from ±4° to under 2° in about three weeks. It isn’t glamorous, it’s just accountability you can measure.”

Verified buyer“Sturdy sticks and the rubber gates actually grip real turf. Only nit is I wish the case were a couple inches longer.”

Questions
Before you set up.
Do I need both the sticks and the gate?
They train two things. The sticks give feet, hips, and ball position a fixed reference; the gate proves your start line rolls true. Used together in our testing, start-line drift tightened by roughly 2 degrees — more than either piece delivers alone.
Which stick length fits my bag?
Standard 48 in is the tour-length reference most players use and stores in a full bag. Choose Long 56 in if you want a longer sight line down range or use them for full-swing plane work.
Will the fibreglass take a set or bend?
No. The shafts are pultruded fibreglass with a powder-coat finish — they flex under load and return dead straight, so the reference stays honest rep after rep.
How many reps a session?
We log around 25 gate putts per set. That is enough to feel the start line settle without grooving fatigue; two or three sets a session is the sweet spot in our practice data.
